An engagement photo session is a wonderful opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera and learn more about your photographer and how they work before the big wedding day. As a photographer engagement sessions offer me the opportunity to see how couples interact in front of a camera and give some tips to make it more comfortable and fun. This helps to get the couple and the photographer on the same page so when the wedding day comes being in front of the camera is much more comfortable.

At John LaTourelle Photography engagement sessions are free with any wedding booked. They typically last from 1-2 hrs and should be a relaxing time for the couple. Also remember the attitude that you bring to the photo session is the one that shows in the pictures. If you don’t want to be there it will look like you don’t want to be there. So remember, photo sessions can be alot of fun, bring your personality and have fun with it.

Hello young ladies and gentelmen, John LaTourelle Photography is looking for some models to model wedding attire. Specifically tuxedos and wedding dresses. Hair and makeup will be professionally done the day of the shoot as well. The shoots will range from 4-8 hours with hair and makeup for the ladies. Photography Workshop!

Hello everyone! I am writing today to inform you of a wonderful opportunity on learning how to use your DSLR camera. John LaTourelle Photography is putting on a 3 hour workshop in Bemidji, Mn at Luekens Village foods North conference center on May 19th,2012. The class goes from 3:00-6:00 and we will be discussing a large variety of topics on how to get the most out of your camera and how to make your photos look like you want them to look. Registration is $30/person and you must RSVP no later than May 10th to reserve your spot. You can reserve a spot by emailing me directly and paying the registration fee.
