Star Wars

Hello everyone! It’s been awhile since we last posted a blog but I wanted to get in touch again and let you see a little bit of the fun projects we have been working on. If you aren’t aware I am a huge fan of Star Wars and have been thinking about doing a Star Wars themed shoot for a little over a year now. My daughter just turned four this year and is also turning into a Star Wars fan and loves dressing up as Rey.

With a little digging I was able to find a BB-8 Droid to use for the photoshoot, her costume was a markdown Halloween Rey costume and the lightsaber came from her Aunt as a Christmas gift.

The setup wasn’t to tricky at all, 2 Bowens 500w strobes were used. One on camera right as the main light, and the other on camera left as a fill with blue gels to create the lightsaber glow in camera instead of painting it in photoshop. All of the lights were triggered with pocket wizards!
